The Biszantz Connection did it again. Featuring one of our most luxurious listings, this castle brings the FAB in fabulous! This Castle in Rancho Santa Fe, co-designed and owned by the late Virgina Martin, also known as ‘Jinny.’ (so:) In addition to the elegant stonework and fanciful interior of the castle, the home incorporated a crenelated turret as a center feature. It was a quotation of one that she had seen when her husband Barney was assigned to SIXTH Fleet and they resided in Gaeta, Italy. She was a native of Medina, OH, and an adventurous young woman. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Retired Cpt. Barney Martin, U.S. Navy. A resident of Rancho Santa Fe for over 35 years. Jinny was active in the various civic and community organizations. Truly was a woman of passion all her life and in all the things she did. Since the 1970's, she was an integral social figure in the Rancho Santa Fe Social, Philanthropist, and Political arenas until her death in 2016. Virginia was always known to be the most stylish and fashionable person known for her impeccable taste in everything, she has collected a wide array of vintage items and you have a chance to own one of them.
