At first, I didn't quite get it and of all places in the house, why would they pick the kitchen? But, eventually saw the reason behind it and it 's making me feel warm and fluffy inside.

Forget the mosaic or tile back splash! This glass kitchen back-splash is absolutely gorgeous! This glass back-splash is easy to clean, you don't have to worry for the parts falling apart or the grimes staying in the gaps of your back-splash. Kitchen backsplash, adds dimension to the plain boring walls of our kitchen and protects the paint from being stained with grime. It doesn't really have to be the whole wall, it won't be a backsplash if it's the whole kitchen. Just choose a portion of your kitchen wall that you want to add the backsplash, preferably somewhere you can easily clean it. Also, you can be creative with your backsplash, you can do a mosaic or use a glass stained design. But don't forget, it should complement the new look of your kitchen and not against the look you are aiming for.

4. Counter-top.

I am a bit unsure about the glass counter top that I saw earlier, I just don't feel that it's safe for a household with kids. I know, it's stylish without a doubt, but let's go for safety. Please, forgive this counter top, I was trying to keep the consistency of color in my blog. Also, I'd still go for natural stones for counter-tops, it's sturdy, absolutely stand all the pounding and the weight of the kids. Match the counter-tops to your walls or your cabinets, I mean ideally the color should blend your color scheme.

5. Brighten up.

I love my kitchen bright! It helps me prepare food better and I always feel energized while cooking. It sets the ambiance and the mood in your kitchen. Th number of light fixture you will be adding will depend on the size of your kitchen. Use an energy saving bulb or change your bulbs to an energy efficient bulb to prevent you from getting a high utility bill in the future. I always say that a bright kitchen is a happy kitchen. You can also change it to a light fixture that can be dimmed, just in case you want to set the mood for a dinner date.
